nelson’s pipes
Peter Matzhold started as an architect before turning to pipe making. That explains his great use of lines and shapes. His stems often have the one sided saddle made of Vulcanite. Just under 6 inches this pipe weighs 1 1/2 ounces and has a beautiful birdseye on top of the rim with a nice flame /straight grain on the sides with the direction perfectly vertical to the bowl and slanting nicely back to the stem. Graded “1D”
